2012 has arrived, which means there is a full year of awesome new auto accessories ahead of us. Many big announcements were made at the 2011 SEMA show, but one in particular stood out in the Jeep realm. This is a very cool announcement.... prepare yourself: Rugged Ridge has released a power-operated soft top for Jeeps. Bam!
The Rugged Ridge Power Top is a power operated Jeep soft top. Gone are the days of getting out of your Wrangler, rolling back the soft top by hand, struggling to make everything fit together and stay tied down. Now, you can roll back that soft top with the push of a button and enjoy the sunshine overhead. Or, if a rainstorm rolls through your area, you can quickly protect your interior from the elements. The Rugged Ridge Power Top comes complete with a sailcloth vinyl soft top, the power top frame and a wiring harness. The Power Top is expected to fit all 4-door Jeep Wrangler JK models from 2007-2012.
There's no word on pricing or availability yet, but since it is electric, it will probably cost more than most standard soft tops. We expect this baby to hit the AutoAnything site in 2012, so keep your eyes peeled.
