"These bars look good, function good and are a great value. The manufacturer needs to Quality inspect the hardware in the box. I could not install 2 of the bolts until I got more flat washers that would fit the bolts. Two were 1/4 inch and you don't need 1/4 inch washers for these, plus I needed two more besides the small ones to complete the installation. There just weren't enough correct washers included. Still an excellent value though."

"Overall the Aries Oval Nerf Bars great step bars for the price. They look great and they are also very sturdy. The instructions are lacking a bit, more pictures and a little more detail would be very helpful. It took me about an hour to install but it was time and money well spent."

"They were better than expected, the fit and finish is excellent. The installation took about an hour doing it alone. The instructions could be a little more in depth. Other than that everything was excellent, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beefy looking nerf bar at a great price."

"Aries bars were shipped/received two days. Received damaged, Aries reshipped via telephone,warp speed.Good follow up. Great bars, but install instructions were almost useless,very bad.Seems to be standard for industry. Deluxe bars are worth the extra capital. GO ARIES!!"

"It was really easy to install maybe ten minutes or less for each side and that was by myself. The chrome really looks great and wasn't really that easy to scratch. I would recommend these for anyone who wants to add a little chrome to their truck along with the ease of getting in and out."

"Bars look great, wife loves them. They seem to be pretty sturdy. But installation was not easy. I needed a impact gun to get my bolts loose on my truck. The bolts they sent to secure to the truck didn't fit. Fortuntaly, the old bolts had enough length. The back bracket needed to be drilled for the flat bracket brace."

"I purchased the Deluxe Oval Nerf Bars from Aries in the polished stainless finish. Installation was longer than expected due to the way the brackets are packaged. There are three brackets per side and they are packaged in two bundles. This suggests that one package is for the left side and one for the right. Wrong! The brackets are packaged, I suspect, to fit in the box. I had to play around with them to find which goes where. No big deal. If the manufacturer labeled each bracket it would have gone faster. This would not stop me from recommending these bars. I am very happy with my purchase. The bars look great and are very solid feeling. They also stick out enough to protect me from door 'dingers'. Shipping was literally next day. Top notch!"

"While it is easy to install, the bars don't line up straight against the body. I've tried loosening everything and readjusting all the bolts and brackets... still nothing. I like the look and it is a good value. Just wish it fit better."

"For the price these are excellent. They look sharp on my 08 Chevy Silverado. Like everyone else, the instructions were found to be lacking, once I figured it out it took me about 30-45 minutes to install by myself. My only issue is that while the bars look good they don't really resemble the product picture. They mount on the ends of the bar and thus only two points of contact with the truck. With that said for the money they are worth it."

"The bars were great, a little difficult to put on at first but after I installed the right side, the left side went on in less than 15 minutes. Black scratches real easily, however, overall, I am pleased with them. And they arrived in less than 3 days which is a plus for autoanything!"

"I love the nerf bars they were much more sturdy than I expected the instructions were a little slack but had no trouble with the instalation process took about 1 hour or so, overall completely satisified with all aspects, would buy again in a heart beat looks great on my 2008 chevy silverado."

"I was not disappointed with the quality of the product, the instructions were very poor and incorrect for my truck, but all the pieces were there to install them correctly. I did have a few minor scratches on the chrome right out of the box that I wasn't too happy to find. Overall this is a very good product in the price range it is in."

"great value for the price, looks great on my truck, already getting comments on the truck, as i bought the bull bar too. on the nerf bars, just don't tighten tne bolts till you install the bars. if you buy the bull bar for a 2008 chevy 3500 dually, you will need to buy longer bolts. i almost lost my because the nuts worked lose on one side. if you have a big truck, spend the extra money and but the 4 inch bars. you will be glad you did."

"Overall, I am very pleased with the nerf bars. There was no drilling required. The brackets and bolts fit perfecly into pre-drilled stock holes. My one complaint is the included istallation instructions - they are not very clear. I was able to find better installation instructions online. After unpacking and inspecting contents the total installation time was approximately 45 minutes."

"These bars are great for the price. I’ve been shopping for a while for a good quality bar that was relatively affordable, and these came highly recommended. The instructions were ok, but I did have to call Aries when installing these on my 08 Tundra Crewmax. Apparently with the Crewmax Tundra’s you have to swap the back bracket to get the holes to line up (put the passenger side bracket on the driver’s side and vice versa). AutoAnything did a great job handling my order!"

"Very nice bars. They seem to be pretty sturdy. Time will tell. Only have two minor complaints. First, the installation instructions say to use the provided bolts for the main brackets. However, the bolts in the kit are too small. I just used the original bolts and it seems to work fine. Next, I was disappointed that these bars only had two point attachment to the frame. This is an extended cab and I thought a three point attachment would have been more durable. All in all, a great product for the money."

"The bars have a great finish, and are easy to install. My only suggestion for improvement - use 4 brackets per side instead of 3. They seem sturdy enough with 3 but the truck is predrilled for 4. AutoAnything was exceptional - easy to use website and SUPERFAST shipping. I got the bars well before I was expecting them. Thanks for the great service."

"Installation was not as easy as i thoughti was going to be, once i got it on a lift it was alot easier. They seem to creek alot while driving something to get used to. They look great and my kids love them they can climb in easy."
