Description

Those dollar-bin brake pads you find at most grimy part warehouses squeal like a stuck pig. And, that distinct screech never goes away, not even after they’ve had a chance to bed. Nope. You’re stuck with that ear-piercing anthem, unless you step up to a set of near-silent EBC Ultimax Brake Pads. Though they look and fit like factory replacements, they’re miles ahead of ordinary pads.

EBC dipped deep into their bag of engineering tricks when they designed their Ultimax Brake Pads. Their beveled edges and factory-fitted shims turn down the volume on you brake pedal. Plus, their rims are chamfered, which protects against corrosion and pad-separation.

What’s more, your EBC Ultimax Brake Pads sport a blend of synthetic and metallic fibers that give you smooth braking, a firm bite, and longer life. And, bedding time is nearly instantaneous because of the special Break-In surface coating. EBC also covers your Ultimax Brake Pads with a 6-month/5,000 mile warranty.

"Installed in a 2002 toyota celica gt. I got my rotors redone. The brake pads has some excellent griping power, better what I have expected. I little noise when braking put still braking them in. But this brake pads create lots and lots of dust from the pad that is making my rim from silver to black but idk since I still braking them in. But overal it has some braking power."

"They work very well. I am extremely pleased with the stopping power of these brakes, the only thing is they produce a bit of brake dust. Not too much but enough to notice at the end of the week. Anyways, They are easy to install and worth the price. If you are looking for something better than you would get at your local parts store these are the way to go. San Diego, Ca."

"I have had these pads for about 1 month now installed on my car. They are great pads, but there is some squeaking when braking. Its not too bad though. I'd expect it to go away after the 1000 mile break in. The worst part about them is that they produce so much brake dust and its a hassle to keep wiping off your wheels. Still, they are a much better improvement over your OEM pads. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone looking for some nice pads at a cheap price."
