Description

Sure, you may have plenty of power under your hood. But, do you have the power to halt all of those horses when you need to?

If you had Power Stop Slotted Rotors already, you’d know the answer every time you step on the brakes. Power Stop Slotted Rotors are founded on quality CNC-machined discs with an expert slotted pattern on the stopping surface. Heat vents more efficiently, your pads stay stronger longer, and the stopping surface fights warping. You won’t find any strength-robbing holes on these rotors.

There’s even more to Power Stop Slotted Rotors that boost your brakes. Engineered directional vanes spin heat gasses away from the pad surface. Meticulous grinding creates perfect balance and fights runout. And, the gold zinc dichromate coating fights corrosion throughout.

Power Stop even stands behind your Slotted Rotors with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Replace your stock discs today, and have confidence in your Power to Stop.

"PROS-The rotors had a good price. I only have a few miles on them, but I already have at least 10-15% more stopping power. They will haul your speed down quick with some good pads. No noise or other problems.Good rotors so far. CONS-I didn't like the sharp edges left at the outter edges of the slots. They were sharp enough to scrape off some pad material until they wore in.I used a grinder with a fine bit and smoothed the edges to correct this."

"Great value, love the look of the rotors on my vehicle. I have noticed a great improvement in braking ability, and after two weeks of use have yet to notice the normal brake dust build-up."

"OEM rotors would not hold up. seems Toyota had the same issue as the Ford Exploers a few years ago. these rotors fixed that problem and work just fine."

"At first I was a bit skeptical of any discernible stopping power with slotted rotors on an SUV, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. If you are still an aggressive driver, despite $120 oil, you can't beat these for the relative value and performance over stock rotors!"

"These rotors are a huge improvement over the stock rotors and I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their current rotors. Purchasing these online was a breeze and I received them very quickly, on a Saturday as well."

"Put them on the front of a 2004 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. I am hoping they will last longer than the original type rotors as these vehicles have a problem warping rotors."

Great Product - Great Value!

"The shipping time and customer service is top drawer! Thanks Michelle! The rotors are better than expected and certainly a super value for the money. I purchased the fronts and will purchase the rears this week. I used NAPA high end mixed compound pads (made by Akebono, I checked with the factory) as Hawk doesn't have notched pads for the electronic brake pad sensors I need. No shimmy and much quicker stops. No dust."

Power Stop Slotted Rotors

Posted on 09/01/2007 by Michael S. - 2003 Mercury Marauder (Rio Rancho,NM)

"I installed the rotors on my Marauder. The brakes work much better than the stock rotors. I have a noticeable hum now on my wheels. The faster I go the more the sound intesifies. I wonder if the slots in the rotors are making the noise as they pass beneath the Hawk brake pads I installed."
