"I got the 2 bike model. easy to set up, without any tools!
Feels strong and stable. Folds to a compact size you could keep it in your car's trunk.
One thing is missing. It should have measurement markings on the hubs to indicate the dimension of the openning in inches. I measured the distance of the openning and the angle of the support arms as specified for my car, and I painted aligning dots on the hub shells so I could set up the rack at the same measurment evry time without using a ruler."

"I bought the Yakima King Joe 3 for use on my 2006 Scion xB, and so far I am quite pleased. With six straps, the rack is held tightly against the lift gate, but after the initial adjustment, I only need to loosen or tighten one strap slightly to remove or install the rack. The bikes are supported on the undersurface of the top tube, and one mount is designed to fit in the acute angle between the top tube and the down tube, which helps control sway during breaking and acceleration. The rubber straps grab the bikes securely, and I have no problem with bikes hitting each other or the car. Mounts can be moved fore or aft on the horizontal support bars as necessary. Ridges on the mounts are thoughtfully placed so that cables below the top tube are not pressed against the frame. The quick release feature at the pivot points allows easy adjustment for different car configurations and folding of the unit for storage. I attach an old pedal strap between the down tube and the front wheel to keep the fork from rotating.
This rack works best for road bikes and other bikes with a conventional diamond frame and a straight or nearly straight top tube. For mountain bikes with complex rear suspensions and deeply dipping top tubes, mounting can be problematic due to lack of satisfactory contact points, and a roof rack may be more appropriate.
Except for the caveat above, the design and function of this rack is excellent, and I would buy it again."

"I just purchased a new car and was very concerned that a trunk mounted bike rack could scratch the paint. I did a little research and selected the Yakima King Joe. When it arrived I was a little dismayed at assembly required. To my suprise, the unit assembled very simply and mounting it is quick. Its design make it almost impossible to scratch the paint. Overall I am very impressed with this unit and would recommend it to any one interested in a trunk mounted bike rack.
AutoAnything's web site was very easy to navigate through, their pricing was quite competitive and their e-mail updates lets you know the exact shipping status of your order. I would definately consider purchasing products from this company."
