"I purchased this rack for my 2007 Toyota Rav4 based on Yakima's product selection guide. The guide said this product would work on my car, but my tire size was larger than their specification. I took a chance and ordered the product. This unit is designed for 15" tires, mine are 17", but I was still able to make it work. The lower arm of the rack did not rest against the bottom of the tire. It hit the rim of the tire. I purchased some 7/8" inside diameter rubber pipe insulation from Home Depot and cut it to length. I attached it to the bottom of the lower arm, and the rack works great. The instructions say it's very easy to adjust the support arms with the rack mounted. This is not true. Once you set the arms, don't try to adjust them with the rack mounted. The rack is very easy to remove and reinstall."

"We have had the chance to use our new bike rack for one trip. The trip was a long one (9 hours) and the rack worked wonderfully on our Honda CR-V the entire trip. In addition the shipping was very speedy and the service was great."
