"I was impressed by what I had read over the years about cold air intakes so I finally decided to buy one. The AEM is a great looking and sounding package. Its quiet at low throttle, but has a nice throaty sound as more gas is applied. I did notice a little bump in power, and it cruises up hills even better than it did before. The gas mileage has also went up by about 2MPG. This is a great product for the money but just do not expect huge levels of power. It is after all just a cold air intake, not a turbo you are installing. This is probably adding maybe 5HP or so."

"I noticed my take off having a lot more power and sounds better also. As far as the gas mileage I might be getting about 1 or 2 miles more per gallon but its definitely not worst gas mileage. I am overall very pleased with my AEM short ram intake."
