Description

When having the latest and the greatest is a must, go for K&N’s 63 Series AirCharger Air Intake Kit. These fresh designs from the emperors of intake are so new, they don’t even have CARB certification yet. Before any K&N intake is certified as a smog-legal 57 Series, they start life as an outlaw—the 63 Series AirCharger.

Smog certs be damned, the 63 Series Air Intakes are some of the most potent cold-air kits to roll out of K&N’s legendary factory. The 63 Series starts with the biggest Filtercharger K&N can squeeze under your hood. Washable and reusable, these filters deliver massive airflow and gnarly power gains. Then, a crosslink-nylon intake tube—runs cooler than metal—rams cool, power-producing air down your engine’s throat.

Adding this rogue power takes less than 90 minutes—no drilling or cutting. And, the simple instructions and quality hardware means you can do it in your driveway. Plus, K&N backs your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit with a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty.

"This intake coupled with my Magnaflow wide body muffler produces a snarl that is downright mean sounding! Very loud so think twice if you want to maintain OEM sound levels. Producing about 1MPG more in mileage and seems like it has a little more power. Truth is it feels like it is twice as powerful but I think thats just the sound! The rubber gasket is a total pain in the a** to put on so I would recommend doing this in your living room and heat the gasket up a bit to make it more pliable. Other than that, the install was pretty easy. Took me 2 hours due to fighting with the cold rubber gasket for 20 minutes."

"easy to install jury's still out on fuel mileage. don't think it's worth the price for a few pieces of plastic and a filter.it does role along now without search for a shift.right now it's not driving weather. When the weather changes then the test will come.Delivery was swift and prompt."

"Installation was not too hard...took about 1.5 hours (has alot of parts). Quality is real nice and looks good under my hood. Performance-wise can feel a little more power at high RPM. Really impressive sound at WOT. Very quiet during daily driving. I have not noticed any MPG changes. Satisfied customer."

"The direstions for the installation was very good, and somewhat easy to follow, but the pictures need to be a little more clearer. The instruction sheet that I had, was blurry, and I need to look at the pictures several times for reference during installation."

"Overall I'm pleased with the K&N 63 series intake. Installation wasn't quite as fast as I thought it would be, but it was definitely worth it. The sound and performance is incredible. Once again I'd recommend this K&N product."

"Air that is. This is a good product; defiantly a noticeable difference in power. Although we have not seen much difference in fuel efficiency from the built in electronic Chevy fuel monitoring. We will see when we actually compute the numbers."
