Description

You might think that Airaid stole a page out of Chubby Checker’s playbook when they designed the PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer because of the new “twist” it puts on airflow. But, truth be told, Airaid was probably more inspired by the voracious energy of a tornado than the R&B classic. That’s because the ingenious Helix Bore in the PowerAid takes incoming air and transforms it into a high-velocity spin. Once in your engine, that vortex enhances the air/fuel mixture, which then burns hotter and cleaner. And that leaves you with a healthy boost in horsepower, torque and economy.

Airaid custom machines your PowerAid for a perfect fit on your vehicle’s motor. It’s wrought from aircraft-grade aluminum, and installs in the blink of an eye using simple hand tools, in most cases. To top it off, your PowerAid also comes with a 30-day “No Hassle” warranty.

Notes

  • The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer works with the stock intake only. Not guaranteed to fit with any performance air intake.

"The installation was a breeze on my 07 5.7L tundra. I noticed better throttle response. does not whistle at all which was good. I still have not gone thru a tank yet to tell if mpgs improved but by the look of where the needle is versus the miles it seems to be better."

"Spacer was fairly easy to install...however I haven't noticed much of a change in performance or mpg...looks great, can hear it sometimes if you really step on it...believe this product is overpriced for minimal gains"

"I was very impressed with the look of the spacer, its a nice eye catcher under the hood. As far as performance goes i did notice a fair amount of low end power and torque. However the spacer does create a whistling noice have not decided if i like that or not yet? Overall i was very happy with the money to power ratio of this product. Oh and i saw a 1.7mpg in the city gain. not taken it on the highway drive yet."

"Recieved the product on time, as usual with au anything. The installation was basically easy, the only step missing on the instructions was the removal of a heater hose that ran through the throttle body. I havent really noticed any increaes in noise or mpg, but it definatly seems quicker off of the line"

"I drive a 02 chevy avalanche and before adding this i was getting about 16 or 17 miles a gallon on average i am now about 19mpg. Not to mention the throttle response. I can really tell a difference in the acceleration and the response when i push the gas!! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get a release a little extra hp and milage out of their truck."
